Durant tout le mois d’août, nous avons accueilli à l’Eté 78 deux danseuses et performeuses, Mimi Wascher et Anne-Lene Nöldner. Toutes les deux sont graduées du Conservatoire Royal d’Anvers depuis 2019 et mènent depuis lors des carrières en solo ou en collectifs.
Durant cette résidence, Mimi Washer et Anne-Lene Nöldner ont considéré leur perception émotionelle du temps et leurs propres agendas/horaires pour mettre en perspective leur travail artistique en tant que performeuses freelance (indépendante). Physiquement, musicalement et visuellement elles réfléchissent aux diverses descriptions de l’organisation temporelle de leur profession en se concentrant en sur l’état physique particulier d’une vie fragmentée où sphères privées et travail sont en constantes interactions et modifications.
Comment cela se manifeste-t-il sur notre corps? Le fait d’être projeté constamment dans un processus et un flux qui ne se termine jamais, constitué d’éternels commencements ou de faire l’expérience d’être sans projet concret à venir, sans emploi?
Mimi Wascher est autrichienne et Anne-Lene Nöldner est allemande. Elles vivent en Belgique et à Berlin.
Elles rendront compte de leur résidence lors d’un moment de partage avec le public, avec vous, le vendredi 1er septembre à 20h. Un drink sera également offert à cette occasion.

Promises and prophecies
Throughout their residency Mimi Wascher and Anne-Lene Nöldner engage with the temporality and the rhythm of artistic freelance work by taking their emotional perception of time and their own schedules as a lens of perspective.
Physically, musically and visually they reflect on various depictions of the temporal organisation of their profession and zoom into the particular physical states of their constantly changing, highly fragmented spheres of life and work. How does it manifest in our bodies to constantly project into the distance, to be exposed to a never ending string of new beginnings or to experience breaks from employment which do not feel like taking a break at all?
On the 1st of September Mimi Wascher and Anne-Lene Nöldner invite visitors into their working space of the past month to give insights into their research.
